Workshops and ARTkits
At Girls Club Strong, our mission is to empower girls through a fun and engaging art experience.
"By empowering the girl, we empower the woman she will become."
Cindy Williams, Founder
Every Girls Club Strong workshop or ARTkit explores important topics that influence a young girl's life and how she will navigate the world as she grows up. The conversations she has today, will become her inner voice of tomorrow so we cover friendship, self-esteem, resilience, gratitude, grit, bullying, body image, sense of community, healthy habits, social media, and so much more.
Our workshops provide a supportive environment where girls are able to have fun, connect to and inspire one another, and feel the strength of a sisterhood. The art creates a fun and natural pathway to learning these important and empowering life skills. Join us as we inspire our girls to be anything they want to be!

Join us as we look at the happiness building concept of gratitude. Our new line of ARTkits bring the workshop experience right to your home.
Each kit includes lessons in the form of art and art project materials.
Studies prove that when girls surround them self with supportive friendships, their confidence and self-esteem soar. That is why we created the Happy Friendships ARTkit inspired by our most popular workshop.
Included are art materials, five projects and hours of fun!

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global celebration of women’s achievements from the past and present. Every year artists create posters to share the accomplishments of women with their communities and the world.
Girls Club Strong and CMATO invite children of all ages to be part of this worldwide experience and participate in a poster-making contest here at the museum. Posters should reflect this year’s theme of gender balance for all. Materials will be provided.
Contest winners will be divided by age group
and notified by email.
The winning posters will be displayed in CMATO’s window and artists will receive a $25 Visa gift card.
Cindy, Sarah, and a baby goat from our Baby Goat Yoga class!
Five years ago, I created Girls Club Strong with the help of my daughter Sarah. We saw that girls were dropping out of academic and sports programs at rates much higher than boys and we wanted to do something about it. Turns out all those girls really need is a sense of belonging and encouragement. That's why we created GCS. To provide a fun, safe space for girls to explore empowering concepts and connect with each other - because when they have each other's support, they become unstoppable.
My goal is to reach as many girls as possible on a local level with the workshops and nationally with the introduction of the Girls Club Strong ARTkit line.
Please join my daughter and I as we empower the girls of today to be the strong women of tomorrow.
